A semester-long series of four rapid-prototyping projects, each developed in a new team over one- to two-week rounds. Working with two programmers, two artists, and a sound designer, I helped build a range of interactive games exploring different platforms and input methods, including virtual reality, augmented reality, Vive trackers, and DDR pads.
Projects included guiding a Seeing Eye dog through a VR obstacle course, navigating an augmented reality game show, a multiplayer tofu-squishing game using Vive trackers, and a multiplayer game controlled with DDR pads. My contributions focused on programming gameplay mechanics and interactive features across the four projects.
A virtual reality game where players help Bibi, a Seeing Eye dog, guide Charlie safely home. Navigate through the environment and avoid obstacles along the way.
An augmented reality game set in a dangerous reality game show. Players navigate the environment, collecting coins while trying to maintain their balance.
A multiplayer game where players use Vive trackers to squish as much tofu as possible. Developed as a one-week rapid prototyping challenge.
A multiplayer game controlled using DDR pads. Players control the movements of a giraffe's neck and body to collect apples while avoiding a flamingo.
