My Gonolda page showcases the social media I've done as Community Outreach Coordinator at Fleet Feet and as a Marketing Intern in Elon's Business School. My experience ranges from photography, video, graphic design, and editing.
During my internship with the Elon Love School of Business, I led two social media campaigns .
Elon Day: I led the development and execution of two social media video campaigns supporting university-wide philanthropy efforts. I conceptualized the creative direction, filmed content, and edited the final videos for Instagram, while also collaborating with deans to align messaging and ensure brand consistency. One video used fast-paced, “Wolf of Wall Street”-style editing to generate excitement around giving, and the other featured a Mannequin Challenge to showcase student engagement and campus energy. This experience strengthened my ability to develop creative concepts, manage stakeholder input, and produce engaging short-form content aligned with campaign goals.
“You bELONg Here” Prospective Students: I produced a social media video aimed at prospective high school seniors to highlight the love school of business and reinforce the message “you bELONg here.” I led the project from concept development through final edit, coordinating with multiple participants and organizing props to support the creative vision. The video used fast-paced cuts and dynamic visuals to reflect the energy and brand identity of the business school. This project strengthened my skills in storytelling, coordination, and end-to-end content production for a targeted audience.
In this capstone course, I researched, reported, and produced investigative multimedia stories that combined text, photography, data visualization, audio, and video. I learned to analyze public records, gather data, and use ethical reporting practices to create stories grounded in accuracy and fairness. Through two major multimedia projects, I strengthened my skills in critical thinking, storytelling, and digital production under newsroom-style deadlines.
More on the stories I created:
Fitness and Successful Aging
Main focus: How structured fitness programs help older adults maintain health, mobility, and independence.
Cow to Community
Main focus: The importance of local farms and how they balance production, sustainability, and local economic pressures.
Throughout the year, I manage a bi-weekly career catalog email campaign and LinkedIn updates that reach approximately 1,700 business school students, promoting curated internship and job opportunities.
At the Porter Center, I designed digital boards to communicate key information and updates to students and stakeholders. Using Canva, I translated data from surveys and other sources into clear, visually engaging graphics. This work allowed me to combine design principles with data interpretation, creating content that is both informative and visually appealing, while effectively conveying complex information in an accessible format.
In my Digital News Production class, I created a multimedia story on food insecurity in Alamance County, combining video interviews, photography, and written narrative to present a compelling and community-focused piece. This capstone project built on the skills I developed through earlier assignments — including an audio slideshow, documentary story, reporter track story, and multimedia news packages. Throughout the course, I strengthened my abilities in camera operation, scriptwriting, and Adobe editing, as well as my attention to detail and ability to manage complex digital projects from concept to final production.
For my Animating Stories capstone project, I created a fully animated short story using Krikey AI. The project challenged me to consider diverse audiences and craft a story that promotes inclusivity and engagement. This project demonstrates both my technical skills in animation and my ability to use AI-driven tools to create meaningful, inclusive narratives that resonate with a wide range of viewers.
