These are the headers that were used throughout the website I created for the Acadia Parrish Special Education Department. I tried to strategically color code each page/category and used the ColorPick Eyedropper Chrome Extension tool to pull colors from the header background.
While there was an official Acadia Parish School Board Logo, there was no official APSB SPED Deptartment logo. This logo was created to be used as the website footer and throughout other presentations and headers.
There was a version of this logo that was previously being used for document headers but it wouldn't work when converting the documents to docx files. The logo was recreated In Canva and saved so that It could be used more easily for document headers.
Like any other website, our new faculty site needed a footer, so I decided to incorporate the logo I had created with Canva and added in our address and contact information. Mrs. Charlotte also had the idea to add in our school district's motto "Reaching every child every day."
These dates are always posted In the Back to School Things to Remember slides show, but I wanted to create a more fun visual that could be printed out and posted. Using the Color Pick Eyedropper tool, I pulled colors from the website header to add pops of color, however, it also looks nice if printed in black and white for those who don't like color.
This graphic was created as a more fun and visually appealing way to post the TS Gold Checkpoint dates as a banner across the top of the TS Gold page. Using Canva, I tried to specifically find a template that not only matched the overall aesthetic of the website, but also tried to find one that incorporated the color gold in some way. I think I nailed it with this one!
Along the way, I was asked to help create a google form for teachers and other faculty to sign up for a professional development opportunity. In doing so, I couldn't pass up the chance to make a nice new google form header for SPED PDs!
With all that being said, this Is the header I made for my Firelight Sample Class in google classroom that I will use for both the explainer videos and my presentation on using the Firelight Curriculum.
