My Career
I have worked with students in the Alpine School District for 8 years and I love it! My journey to becoming a professional school counselor started at Timpanogos High School were I worked in an intervention classroom mentoring and tutoring students as they worked towards graduation. My love for my students inspired me to get my master's degree in school counseling. I am currently a school counselor at Pleasant Grove Junior High. I love having the daily opportunity to teach, inspire, and encourage students as they navigate their way through adolescence.

I have six amazing children and an unbelievable husband. I enjoy spending my free time with these wonderful people. A lot of what I have learned in life and the things I have accomplished can be attributed to the love and support of my spouse and children. It has been quite and adventure to be a part of my children's lives and watch them grow into successful young adults.

Spring and Summer are my favorite seasons. I love being outside, enjoying the sunshine, and working in my garden. Whether I'm planting flowers or pulling weeds, I'd much rather be in my garden then cooped up indoors.

If I need an escape from reality, reading is my go-to. I love relaxing and immersing myself in a good book. Historical fiction is my favorite genre, but I'm open to a good adventure or romance if you have any recommendations.

My absolute favorite vacation destination is anywhere with warm sunshine and a nice sandy beach. I love the soothing sound of the waves and walking along the damp sand. Best of all is watching as the kids, both young and old, play in the waves.
