Ms. Tioluwalope Rachael Abdul
Undergraduate Researcher (Honors Thesis Program)
Research interest: I am interested in exploring plant-derived compounds that can help restore antibiotic susceptibility in Pseudomonas aeruginosa. My research focuses on understanding how phytomolecules interfere with bacterial resistance mechanisms and including biofilm formation, to support the development of new approaches for combating antibiotic-resistant infections.
Ms. Ella Grace McClung
Undergraduate Summer Research– Beasley Fellow
Research interests: My research explores the potential of stress-resilient environmental microbes for the bioremediation of toxic contaminants. Specifically, I investigate bacteria capable of degrading persistent halogenated compounds, including PFAS, with the goal of developing sustainable strategies to improve environmental quality and safeguard human health.
Mr. Riley Latongan
