You might also want a pen and paper to take notes just in case.

Ebooks & ThePoint
The website is asking for a library code. Where can I find it?
The library code is found in the paperwork you used to purchase your ebooks: C4C4EB3E
What's the difference between a library code and a class code?
The library code will get you access to the ebooks that the Santa Ana College Nursing Program utilizes. You will only need to enter this code once during the whole program. Each semester you will be given a class code by your instructors. It is usually posted on Canvas. The class code gets you access to the Prep U adaptive quizzes that will be used for that specific class.
Kaplan & Examsoft
I got an email from Kaplan about payment. When do I have to pay that?
Kaplan is the standardized testing platform that the Nursing Program uses. Every semester you will be taking at least one Kaplan test during the semester. Kaplan also has a number of useful, online resources to supplement the content that you are learning in class. You will receive a Kaplan orientation to familiarize you with these resources and a Kaplan book to help you prepare for the exam. In order to access the resources, you will have to pay the $150 fee. This fee must also be paid at least one week prior to the exam. If you do not pay the fee and are unable to take the exam, your grade will be a 0.
When will I get my Kaplan book? Is there a digital copy available?
If you are a first-semester student, you will be receiving your Kaplan book on the first day of the semester. If you are an advanced-placed student, please contact your instructor on how/when you will receive your Kaplan book. A digital copy is available to students in their online Kaplan resources.
What is ExamSoft and when do I have to pay for it?
ExamSoft is the software program that the Nursing Program uses to administer all course exams. ExamSoft provides a secure testing environment to prepare students for their computerized licensing exam. Students will take a mock exam to familiarize themselves with the features of the program before taking any course exam. The fee for the software is $41 and needs to be paid before the start of the semester.
