STE Program refers to a program track intended for students who possess a keen talent for and an interest in the fields of science, technology, and engineering. With an enhanced curriculum that includes various science and mathematics courses, practical laboratory experience, and advanced research-based studies, students
will be prepared for their future educational and occupational pursuits in STEM fields.

The STE Program was introduced in accordance to DepEd's Order No. 55, series of 2010 due to a worldwide demand in enhancing STEM education. The original purpose of this program lies in the idea of Special Curricular Programs (SCPs) that were introduced in order to meet the needs of science-oriented learners providing improved education and becoming prepared for higher studies in such fields like science, technology and mathematics. Among the functions of this program is the advancement of accessibility to a quality secondary education for students interested in science, technology and engineering.
