The Scouts of SRNHS is an organization recognized by the Department of Education when they enacted DepEd Order No. 76, s. of 2012, committed to the overall development of each Roquenian Scout, according to the main principles of the Scouting Movement. The members of the organization are trained in self-control,
being resourceful, leading others, and serving the local community. 

According to the Scout Oath and Scout Law, the Scouts become involved in camping activities, first aid and survival training, implementation of outreach programs in the community, and taking part in leadership training. Thus, the organization does not provide training and education only in the classroom but also develops students in real life.
