Instructional Design of Educational contents in the Metaverse

In this course, students will design and develop educational content in a metaverse environment  (e.g., VR, iVR, AR, XR). Students will learn basic learning theories and instructional design principles for building effective educational environments and designing content in the metaverse, and explore a variety of metaverse platforms and related technologies.

This course is designed to develop students' creativity and communication skills through a variety of tasks.  In the first module, students will engage in various problem-solving situations in the metaverse (e.g., bar, airport, gym, restaurant) and solve the problems by interacting with others. In the second module, they will create a mystery piece of multimodal writing.
