Our group focuses in the kinematics and thermodynamics of atmospheric boundary layer, i.e. lower most part of the troposphere. Thrust research areas are: Boundary layer and mountain meteorology, Laser remote sensing of atmospheric parameters, Carbon cycle, and Atmospheric aerosols. My research group at Tech are mainly interested in exploring ground-based, airborne, and satellite borne measurements of meteorological processes.
Undergraduate Researchers: Students majoring in any of the following disciplines are encouraged: Meteorology, Geography, Geology, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, Plant and Soil science, Environmental Engineering. If you have already obtained your Ph.D. in any of the following fields (Atmospheric Sciences/Geo-sciences/Earth Sciences/Environmental Sciences/Physics/Remote Sensing/Optical Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering and would like to apply for different postdoctoral fellowships and looking for a mentor, please get in touch with me; I will be more than happy to support applications/proposals from suitable candidates.
