About Dr. Sundriyal

Dr. Sandeep Sundriyal received his doctoral degree in medicinal chemistry from NIPER, Mohali (2004-2008) under the supervision of Prof. Prasad V. Bharatam and Prof. Asit K. Chakraborti. Later, Dr. Sundriyal worked at various international institutes as a postdoctoral research associate, including Baylor College of Medicine, Texas A&M Health Science Center, and Imperial College London.

 

He received several honours including, ‘2009 Eli Lilly Asia Outstanding Thesis Award’ and the prestigious “Marie Curie International Incoming Fellowship (MC-IIF, 2013-2015). Dr. Sundriyal has several publications in peer-reviewed journals and has presented his research work at many national and international conferences.

 

Dr. Sundriyal is currently serving as an Associate Professor at the Department of Pharmacy, BITS, Pilani (Pilani Campus). His research interests include computer-aided design and synthesis of novel antimicrobial, antiparasitic, and anticancer agents. His lab is also involved in the synthesis of novel polymeric materials for diverse applications.
