Academic Commentary

This academic commentary #4 was a reflection to see how I can assess students are learning through my lessons. I reflect on their assessment of learning and how I can change my feedback to give them what they need to succeed.

Curriculum Project

This is an example of a 5 day curriculum built around all 4 of the NAFME Standards, performing, creating, responding and creating. This is unit was built around student advocacy for an issue. We focused on students then making a difference in their own community. Students will be able to use music for a change, while also increasing their musical competance.

Finalized Curriculum Synthesis Project

This is my academic language journal. Concepts we will use in the classroom interchangably between students and the teacher. The point of these specific words is for our class to work towards these definitions to enrich our understanding of music education.
