Fourth Step
WEEK_4
WEEK_4
Design a custom box for an Arduino board by importing its 3D model from GRABCAD, measuring its dimensions, and creating a fitted box in Fusion 360 with proper mounting holes and access points.
_Download the Arduino Model by Go to GRABCAD and download the Arduino 3D model (.step)
_Import the downloaded model into Fusion.
_Use the Measure function in Fusion to get the exact dimensions of the Arduino board.
_Recorded dimensions for box: 86 mm (length) × 66 mm (width) × 30 mm (height).
_Create three main faces :
->Face 1 : 86 × 66 mm .
->Face 2: 86 × 30 mm
->Face 3: 30 × 66 mm.
When designing the fingers I added (20 mm+0.25mm) to ensure tight fit after joint ,and For the opens I subtracted (20 mm - 0.25mm) to prevent looseness.
_Draw the three faces in Sketch mode and Use Extrude (3mm) to give them thickness .
_Use Paste New to duplicate faces and create the remaining three sides.
_Use Joint to connect all sides together, forming the box.
_Select the Arduino body and create a Rigid Group to keep all parts fixed together and Use Align to position the Arduino inside the box correctly.
_Use Project (p) Create a new Sketch for the Arduino’s external outline on the box face Repeat the same step for any other components that require external connections or openings.
_Use Extrude → Cut to create necessary openings
Design Custom Box For 3 Components
Design a custom box for Arduino, LCD, and Ultrasonic sensor
_Download the 3D models of the Arduino, LCD, and Ultrasonic sensor from GRABCAD.
Arduino 3D , LCD 3D , Ultrasonic sensor 3D .
_Import the downloaded models into Fusion.
_Use the Measure function in Fusion to get the exact dimensions of each component.
_Recorded dimensions for box: 125 mm (length) × 125 mm (width) × 50 mm (height).
_Create three main faces :
->Face 1 : 125 × 125 mm .
->Face 2: 125 × 50 mm
->Face 3: 125 × 50 mm.
_Select each component body and create a Rigid Group to keep all parts fixed together and Use Align to position the components inside the box correctly.
_Use Project (p) Create a new Sketch for the Arduino’s external outline on the box face Repeat the same step for LCD and Ultrasonic sensor .
_Use Extrude → Cut to create necessary openings .
I placed the LCD screen and the ultrasonic sensor inside the box on the bottom face. This positioning meant they would only be visible if viewed from the top opening, which is not practical.
To correct this, I repositioned both components to the top face of the box, ensuring they are clearly visible and accessible for use.

DAY_9
in this task, I created a 3D design of the Among Us character using suitable modeling tools.
after completing the design, I imported the 3D model into PrusaSlicer. I adjusted the key four parameters affecting print quality:
layer height , infill density , temperature and support structures .
These settings were optimized to achieve the best printing result.

Ultrasonic Sensor and LCD
Connect an Ultrasonic Sensor to an Arduino and an LCD display to measure distance.
As the distance increases, a bar or indicator lights up on the screen (like a volume level bar) to represent volume up/down.
The concept is similar to controlling audio volume based on distance.
