Getting Started with Fusion 360 🌠
DAY_1
I started my design journey by taking an overview of Fusion , exploring its interface and main tools Then, I moved on to learning the basics, like the different types of shapes such as circles and rectangles, understanding the difference between Line and Spline, and practicing tools like Trim and fillet These fundamentals helped me get more comfortable with the software and build my first simple sketches.
Since I’ve always had a deep passion for Japanese culture and the way of the samurai, the first idea that instantly came to my mind for a sketch was a katana sword It wasn’t the most perfect sketch, but it was a fun start that made me excited to learn more and keep designing.
For the first design task, I decided to create a simple butterfly sketch I wanted to start with something that's not too complex, so I could focus on practicing the basic tools.
Discovering More in Fusion 🌠
DAY _2
I used Mirror, Circular Pattern, and Arc, the result ended up looking like Funny ghost.
I used the Concentric constraint to combine an ellipse shape with a circle, and the result ended up looking like Saturn.
For second task, I created a layered sketch using two sketches placed on top of each other. One layer represents the day, with a bright sun and radiating beams, while the other captures the night, featuring a crescent moon and scattered stars. This design reflects the harmony between day and night.
This was my first time using a breadboard ,all done virtually on Tinkercad! It was surprisingly fun and helped me understand how to connect components properly I also learned how a switch works and how to build simple circuits using a battery, a light bulb.
In this circuit, components are connected one after the other, so the current flows through each component in turn. If one component stops working, the whole circuit breaks
In this circuit, each component is connected on its own path to the power source. This means if one component stops working, the others keep running just fine.
I created a circuit that combines two bulbs connected in series and a third bulb connected in parallel to them.
The circuit includes A main switch that controls the entire circuit and separate switch for the parallel bulb.
In this circuit, I built a simplified model of a house using Tinkercad containing bell, two fans, three light bulbs .
This was my first time using pushbutton and each component is connected on its own path to the switch.
DAY_2
Task that involved five light bulbs arranged in a combination of series and parallel connections.
Two bulbs were connected in series, controlled by their own switch.
These were linked to a third bulb connected in parallel, which was further connected to another parallel pair of bulbs with their own switch.
The entire circuit was also controlled by a main switch shared with an external bulb.
In this task, I created a simple H-Bridge circuit to control the direction of a DC motor. The H-Bridge works by using four switches arranged in an "H" shape. By turning on one diagonal pair of switches (top-left "shamal sharki" and bottom-right " ganoub gharbi "🤣) current flows in one direction and the motor spins forward.
Switching to the opposite diagonal pair (top-right " shamal gharbi " and bottom-left "ganoub sharki "🤣) reverses the current and makes the motor spin in the opposite direction.
This video was helpful for me in this task link.
In this task, I created a simple circuit that works as a touch sensor using a transistor, an LED, and a resistor When I touch the resistor, it sends a small signal to the transistor's base, which allows current to pass through the LED ,turning it on.
