Here is a fall 2022 class project. I designed this thanksgiving game as a group assignment. My contribution to this project was the actual game design and the environment design. I designed the environment using an asset pack in unreal engine. The game was programmed using blueprints in Unreal engine and built for play on the Oculus.
This project was started with the aim of creating a surgery VR experience for Veterinary students. Before I stopped working on this project, I could set up all the needed functions. Some of the functions included the surgery table motion, pointing and labelling of objects in the scene, and grabbing tools. A lot of youtube tutorials and guidance from a few classmates helped to achieve this.
This is a prototype for my game design class taught by Andre Thomas at Texas A and M University. The assignment was to create a prototype showcasing two game mechanics. Here, I have the hovering rocks and the slabs that function as a hoverboard where the player has to balance to initiate the direction of motion. This was a team effort with a classmate Chudi Nwokoma
