For the Global Research Project Jake, Heather, and I were assigned to each choose a location from around the world. The locations we chose ended up being Singapore, Greece, and Madrid. The goal of this project was to research the technology of these locations and compare them with one another. What I found interesting was how each of our locations had a completely different take on e-waste and how they planned to manage it.
What I learned from doing this project is that all around the world, technological advances are being approached differently whether it be because of the resources that are provided, or just because that location chooses to move at a different pace. I personally love Madrid and would love to travel there, but I didn't know that the city itself is so involved with technology. I enjoyed that this project helped me learn a little more of where I would like to travel to one day.
