Emerging Technology

For my Emerging Technology project I chose 3-D printing. I chose 3-D printing because it's fascinating how much you can do with it, from building prosthetics, to building models of buildings, habitats, and even things at home like utensils, tools, etc.

What I learned from doing this emerging technology project is that there are ideas that I have never even thought of (I think it's very cool). For example, scientists want to build and mimic a coral reef for research studies and it is stated that with a mimic of the coral reef it prevents any harm done to the actual coral reef. Not only that, around the world there are others who have already started to experiment with 3-D printing. An entire house was made of 3-D printing technology and it came out nice. It just goes to show how creative and helpful these future technologies can be.
