YOU RESIDE IN A GIGASTRUCTURE CALLED The Gigakhrushchevka - an infinite, self-expanding Soviet-era apartment complex. No one knows its origin. It grows in all directions - endless rooms, corridors, and stairways sprawling in every direction.

The architecture is chaotic and nonsensical. Hallways lead to nowhere. Half-doors open onto bottomless pits. Pipes run to unknown destinations, Rooms are scattered randomly, Maintenance rooms lead to a dead-end, Closets open into voids - Some rooms were demolished to make way for factories or clinics. 

Vertical movement uses stairways (hermetically sealed) or rare, unsealed elevators. Horizontal railway systems exist but are uncommon.

Residents live in decaying apartments protected by hermetic doors - the only defense against Samosbor. Your parents’ generation lived here, and so did the one before. Life depends on the effectiveness of your door. When Samosbor hits, it is the only thing between you and DEATH.
