MKT 3020 - Consumer Behavior:
This course analyzed market trends and explored consumer behaviors of different countries and ethnic groups. We were introduced to consumer behavior theories and studied real time cases of marketing failures and successes.
MKT 4270 - International Marketing:
In this course, we used our skills learned in 3020 to create a ten page marketing plan to introduce our company into another market. Additionally, we continued to learn about cultural differences through the lense of consumer preference and economic behaviors.
MGT 4230 - International Business Management:
International Business Management focused on the cultural differences within work environments. Likewise, we studied the economic standing of a variety of different countries and analyzed their future projections.
MATH 2070 - Business Calculus II
In this course, we analyzed various markets, how to maximize profits, make economic predictions, and evaluate numerical data.
ECON 3140- Intermediate Microeconomics
Through the lense of microeconomics, we learned how to make financial decisions in the short run and long run, as well as analyze data in regards to optimal market pricing.
SPAN 3160 - Spanish for International Business I:
This course introduced us to business etiquette in Latin America. We learned appropriate vocabulary and the key functions of human resources, management and finance. Additionally, in this class my partner and I created a travel business in Guatemala, developed a full business plan and built a website to market our business.
SPAN 4160- Spanish for International Business II:
In this course we dove deeper into the topics introduced by SPAN 3160 such as specific managerial practices in the Hispanic Business World. Additionally, we were taught different cultural expectations when conducting business interactions globally.
SPAN 3020 - Intermediate Spanish Grammar and Composition
In this course, we were introduced to complex grammar and applied these skills in essays written about various narrative texts.
SPAN 3050 - Intermediate Spanish Conversation and Composition I
Intermediate Spanish Conversation encouraged students to go outside of their comfort zone by giving various speeches using more complicated grammar and sentence structures.
SPAN 3080 - The Hispanic World: Latin America
In this course, we were introduced to the rich history of the hispanic world.
SPAN 3040 - Intro to Hispanic Literature Forms
This course surveyed multiple literary authors and analyzed their works. We were instructed to create pieces that fit into their style of creating, including poems, short stories, and personal essays.
