INSIDE THE SHELL

"Inside the Shell is a site-specific performance created for a tree house kind of space, part of the Airhotel art installation displayed on the belgium festival Waking Life in Portugal.

In Airhotel the public is given the chance to be part of experience-based and performative interactions as guests of floating hotels, alternative resorts and magical shelters.

In total, 6 "air chambers" were set up where 12 international artists departed together in a 24/7 show and the audience was fully immersed in multiple sensory experiences through performative sessions.

"Inside the Shell" is a voice performance where the public sits or lays down with eyes closed being taken in an absurd journey that brings laughter, fear, doubt and a bunch of other flavours.

The performer brings the public inside the Shell , blind folds them and creates a sensorial experience through touch, smell and sound. Creating a dramaturgy with her voice she awakens different emotional states triggering memories and sensations.
