Salishan Sanitary District

Effective Sept 21, 2021 we changed our billing and accounting support to this new address and phone number.  Please update any addresses for the District such as your bank Bill Pay.  

Salishan Sanitary District serves the Salishan Hills residential area, portions of Salishan Leaseholders residences, the Salishan Lodge and Shops, Siletz Keys homeowners, and several condominium units. The sewage plant is located at the north end of the Salishan Shops area between the Salishan Shops and the Salishan Spa.

The District is served by an elected board of five members and has 2 full time employees managing the plant and all facilities.  The District contracts with a local accounting firm for administrative services.

The board meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month via videoconference to allow increased public participation and at Salishan Leaseholders office, 100 Salishan Dr.,  at 3:00 pm. Check with this site to confirm the time and location of the next meeting as the time can vary based on board members schedules and location based on any restrictions for public meetings. 

Budget Committee Meeting and Monthly Board Meeting

The budget committee will review the proposed budget by our financial officer for the next budget year 2024 - 05 on May 14 at 3 pm at the Salishan Leaseholders' office. Our next regular board meeting will be Tuesday, May 21th at 3 pm at Salishan Leaseholders office, 100 Salishan Dr.  

The meetings will also be held via conference call per the new state requirement allowing the public electronic access to public meetings.  Check this site before the meeting for any changes. You may contact us via email with any questions at  salishan.sanitary.board@gmail.com .  Comments to the board can be submitted at any time via email or by mail in lieu of an appearance (electronic or in person) at board or other meeting.
