"The Foundation for International Cooperation in Higher Education of Taiwan, referred to as 'FICHET,' the National Council of State Supervisors for Language, referred to as 'NCSSFL,' and the National Association of District Supervisors of Foreign Languages, referred to as 'NADSFL,' collectively referred to as 'the Parties,' hereby agree to enter into a joint Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the aim of enhancing language education connections between Taiwan and the USA in a positive manner. "
The 2025 Taiwan Scholarship and Huayu Enrichment Scholarship guidelines hare now available. The application period is from February 1st to March 31st, 2025. Please note that applicants must have graduated from high school, and all applications must be submitted by March 31, 2025.
2025 Taiwan Scholarship: The Taiwan Scholarship Program is designated to encourage promising students from United States to pursue their degree in Taiwan to familiarize themselves with the academic environment in Taiwan and promote communication, understanding and friendship between Taiwan and the United States of America.
2025 Huayu Enrichment Scholarship: The Ministry of Education (MOE) in Taiwan provides the Huayu Enrichment Scholarship (HES) for U.S. Mandarin/Chinese learners, including beginners, to study at any accredited Mandarin center at a university or college in Taiwan.
