Dual Language & Multilingual Alliance - Connect with a network of peers who are passionate about dual language education.
National Dual Language Forum - a collaborative network of expert organizations and researchers dedicated to dual language education.
The 10th International Conference on Immersion and Dual Language Education will take place March 17-19, 2027 at the JW Marriott in Reston, Virginia. Information and updates will be shared on the conference website.
The All Things Immersion program, launched in 2024 with the Instruction Strand presented by the South Carolina Department of Education, was designed to strengthen and support high‑quality immersion education across states. Building on this foundation, the program expanded in 2025 with the addition of the Leadership Strand, facilitated by the Virginia Department of Education, to develop and empower school and district leaders in immersion settings. In 2026, the initiative continues to grow with the introduction of a collaborative Book Study, beginning in August and facilitated by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, further enriching professional learning opportunities for educators engaged in immersion programs.
This free series aims to provide teachers and administrators with a platform to explore and engage in best practices related to immersion education. In this second season, South Carolina and Virginia educators will facilitate a one hour session (4:30-5:30 pm) on the last Tuesday of every month. Participants will receive a Certificate of Participation for Renewal Credit from the South Carolina Department of Education upon completing a survey at the end of each session.
You only need to register once! Just click on all the sessions that you are interested in and a zoom link with an invitation to the session will be sent to you within a week of the scheduled session.
