Salahudden Salahudden 

He is a Deputy Manager (Flight controls and Concept Design Department) at TATA Aerospace and Defence. Prior to that, he worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Auburn University in the Department of Aerospace Engineering for the academic year 2022–2023. He held the post specifically from February 2022 to December 2022. He earned a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IITK), India, in 2021. He received a M.Tech in Aerospace Engineering from IITK in 2018 and a B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering from SRM University Chennai, India in 2016. Apart from the aforementioned education, he worked as a Sr. Project Engineer at Department of Aerospace Engineering IIT Kanpur from January 2022 to February 2022. Before this, he worked as a Senior Student Research Associate at the Department of Aerospace Engineering IIT Kanpur (Part time) from August 2018 to November 2021 (3.25 years). Before this, he was the Project Associate at the Department of Aerospace Engineering IIT Kanpur from June 2018 to July 2018. His research interests include the areas of flight mechanics, aircraft dynamics, aircraft design, linear and non-linear controller design for flight vehicles, aircraft simulator design and machine learning. He contributes his research to these areas. Apart from working on aircraft, he also worked on attitude control for spacecraft. He published numerous reputable journals and conferences based on his research, and he is continuously working to make some good contributions to aerospace science and technology. He is receipt of many academic and research awards (Outstanding PhD Thesis Award, Excellent Undergraduate Project Award, Outstanding Academic Performance Award, to name a few). He is a member of the AIAA and National Postdoc. He is also serving as a reviewer for several reputed journals, including American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics and Aerospace Science and Technology. His long-term goal is to become a professor who can understand students' and researchers' levels and make them best out of best.
