Salahudden Salahudden 

Dr. Salahudden is currently serving as a faculty member in the Wadhwani School of AI and Intelligent Systems (WSAIS), IIT Kanpur. Previously, he worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh, India. Before joining academia, he served as Deputy Manager in the Flight Controls and Concept Design Department at TATA Aerospace and Defence Ltd. He also worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Auburn University, USA. He obtained his Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from the IIT Kanpur in 2022, after completing his M.Tech from IIT Kanpur in 2018 and B.Tech from SRM University Chennai in 2016. During his academic journey, he contributed to several sponsored research projects. His research interests include flight mechanics, aircraft and space dynamics, aircraft design, control law design, aircraft simulator development, autopilot systems, and applications of AI in intelligent aerospace systems. He has published several research papers in reputed journals and conferences and actively contributes to aerospace science and technology. He is a member of AIAA and serves as a reviewer for reputed international journals. He has also received multiple academic and research awards, including the Outstanding PhD Thesis Award and Outstanding Academic Performance Award.
