APPLICATION & REGISTRATION
* A virtual interview will be set up to answer your questions about the club and to see if the club is a good fit for your family. Before the interview, please go through the NCFCA website and the links in the NCFCA links page, which has all the pertinent information you will need to make a decision. Please also watch the videos on speech, debate, and judging before the interview. Please also visit NCFCA's YouTube channel to check out videos if you'd like more information. * We only take in a maximum of 25 senior students (not including juniors) each year. Your student can be put in a waitlist if we have reached our max.
* For returning and accepted families, complete the following (details and links will be emailed to you):

Pay the NCFCA Family Affiliation Fee starting June 9, 2025 for this academic year. You will need to create an account if you are a new family.
* After all these steps are completed, you will gain access to the club calendar and other docs. You will also be added to the club GroupMe. Please download the app on your phone.
CLUB FEES 2025-26
Fees are non-refundable after June 15. The budget will be set and expenses incurred at that point since Club activities begin in June. Fees are a flat, one time, per family fee.

Speech only (register and pay by JUNE 15, non-refundable): $150/per family.
Speech and Debate (register and pay by JUNE 15, non-refundable): $225/per family
*There is also an OLF registration fee ($50 if you’re only in the club) paid to Julie Dougherty (Zelle 214-608-7359 or Venmo @julie-dougherty-30) for use of the facilities.
Other expenses:
$150: Debate Summer Camp (Required for new debaters and debaters who have never attended a camp. Usually held in August.)
$160: NCFCA (National Christian Forensics and Communications Association) family affiliation
$65+ NCFCA tournament registration (Cost will vary depending on how many events students choose to compete in).
$__ Tournament attire
$__ Hotel, travel, food (if tournament is far away)
$50-80 supplies: legal pads, debate box, copies, source books*
*A supply list will be sent to all members of the club in July.
