- Literature review and collection of published Hydro-geological and other relevant data from various State and Central Government sources and other relevant organizations
- Potential aquifers delineation for ground water development for different projects
- Observation of water level from the existing dug/ tube wells and validate with the source data
- Collection of water samples from select dug/ tube wells and surface water source and performing laboratory analysis with result interpretation and implication.
- Collection of data related to ground water utilization and water use demand estimation
- Collection of different hydrogeological information connected to groundwater storage such as historical water levels, surface geology, hydro-chemical data, climatological data to evaluate the behaviors of groundwater storage in past and use the interpreted trend to predict future status on account of developmental activity
- Conducting pump test on existing bore well and dug well to evaluate the hydrological parameter of the aquifer and discharge capacity of the aquifer with seasonal variation
- Groundwater quality assessment and suggesting required depth of bore-well for heavy and light industry
- Salinity intrusion possibility study for the studied aquifer and groundwater contamination sources mapping
