We (Rob and John, see about us) are taking part in the Driven to Extremes Sahara 2025 Challenge. This follows part of the original Paris-Dakar Rally route, and to make things more interesting we will be doing it in a 2-wheel drive Ford Focus. On 12th September we depart from Newhaven in the  UK, to meet up with the challenge team in Tarifa southern Spain. We will then take the ferry to Tangier and drive through Morocco towards the Algerian boarder, and from there over to the Atlantic Ocean. We will  battle our way across hundreds of miles of mountainous roads, rocks, sand, and gravel; all the way to the remote wilderness of the Sahara desert.
