Our Prairie Offerings

At Sage Prairie Farm, we’re building a unique and thoughtfully selected flock with a focus on quality, distinctive genetics, and exciting breeding projects. Our flock is continuing to grow, and we currently have around 30 birds as we work toward developing new and established breeding lines.

We’re currently in the building and growing stage of our program, so our first regular availability of hatching eggs and chicks will begin around March 2027. Some of our newer breeding projects will take additional time to develop, and we’re excited to see what these pairings produce as the birds mature.

Alongside our established breeding projects, we may occasionally offer select, thoughtfully planned crosses using birds whose genetics complement one another and align with our breeding goals. These pairings are carefully considered by Sage Prairie Farm and will only be offered when we feel the cross is appropriate and worthwhile. Availability will depend on the birds, genetics, and breeding plans within our flock.

If you have a particular breed, color, or project you’re interested in, you’re always welcome to reach out. While we cannot guarantee specific crosses or pairings, we’re happy to discuss our current and upcoming projects and let you know what may become available.

We’ll be sharing more photos and updates as our flock grows, including individual birds, breeding projects, hatchings, and upcoming availability. Follow along to watch Sage Prairie Farm grow and see what we’re working toward.
