We are Sagebrushers and that beautiful Four Wheel Camper on an F-150 is named Stella. We retired in 2018 and built out our new 2019 Four Wheel Camper Hawk Shell to make a spacious and flexible living space. Since then, we have thoroughly enjoyed boondocking and travelling-- "socially distancing" the best way possible! On this site and the companion Sagebrushers YouTube channel, we hope to share our FWC Hawk Shell modifications, ongoing improvements, our favorite gear and our boondocking and travelling style. We want to share it in the hope that it is useful to others planning to do the same thing and so that we can also learn new ideas from our viewers.

We call ourselves "Sagebrushers" because we live and love to camp and travel in the sagebrush and red rock country of the American West. The term "Sagebrushers" also recalls the early overland visitors to the National Parks who travelled and camped independently (and free!) as opposed to the visitors referred to as "Dudes", who utilized trains, motor coaches and expensive lodging to see the parks.

This site is intended to parallel the Sagebrushers YouTube Channel as it grows but we hope to parallel it on this site, with additional detail and perhaps even data and other information that may be of help to those starting out on a path similar to ours.
