Speeches / Presentations

• I was a paper presenter at the European International Studies Association - European Workshop in International Studies 2025 in Krakow/Poland. 

• I attended the Political Science Association of Ireland (PSAI) Annual Conference 2024 as a paper presenter in October. Later in December, I was a paper presenter in the Postgraduate Conference 2024 as well.

• I attended the European Consortium for Political Research (ECPR) General Conference 2024 as a paper presenter in August. 

• I presented my ongoing PhD research in the PGR Research Showcase organised by the Doctoral College at the University of Limerick (UL) in June 2024. 

• At the UL Politics & Public Administration (PPA) department's Research Day in the second semester of the 2023/24 academic year, I: 

   - Presented a portion of my PhD research at the "Global Politics" panel.
- Spoke in the section "Drafting a Successful Funding Application: Experiences of PPA Students" as a GOI-IES scholar.

• Chaired a panel during the Development Studies Association of Ireland (DSAI) Annual Conference in October 2023.
  
  

• Presented my master’s thesis at the “PPA Seminar Series” in the first semester of the 2023/24 academic year at UL.

• Presented one part of my master’s thesis in an online academic meeting titled “Is China the new hegemon in Central Asia?” in May 2023.
  
  

• Had an online academic speech titled “Is a more comprehensive discipline of International Relations possible? If so, what is the place and importance of Asia for this?” in March 2023.
  
  

• In December 2022, I was invited to an alumni-student meeting held by a student club at Ankara Yildirim Beyazit University where I completed my Bachelor's. The meeting aimed to share experiences. The attendees were 3rd and 4th year students interested in my story of coming to Ireland as a PhD student.
  
  

• Gave a speech about “Can the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank be a rival to the World Bank” at the 1st China Studies and Research Conference at Cappadocia University in Nevsehir, Türkiye in 2019.
  
  

• Gave a speech about “European Policies after Brexit” at the IV. Youth Workshop of Turkey at Bilkent University in Ankara in 2019.
