How SafeStream works

Arm a mode. Choose the protection you need: Camera, Jog, or Check-In.


Confirm you're safe. If a SafeStream alarm is triggered, you'll be prompted to enter your correct PIN.


Escalate if you can't respond. If the correct PIN isn't entered in time, SafeStream shares your location and relevant details with Noonlight's licensed dispatchers, who verify the situation and route emergency services to you.

Practice before you need it

Every safety mode includes two distinct ways to start:


Test — Practice with zero anxiety. Test routes to Noonlight's sandbox, so you can trigger alarms and practice entering your PIN without contacting real emergency services. Free for everyone.


Armed — For real life. Armed connects directly to Noonlight's live production dispatchers, who will send real emergency services to you if an alarm is triggered.

Arm Your Camera

Tap and hold to record. Release to stop recording. If you are safe, enter your PIN. If not, the video will go to 911 and a livestream will begin.


Armed Camera lets you hold to record during a tense or uncertain situation. When you release, SafeStream immediately asks for your PIN. If the correct PIN isn't entered within 20 seconds, your phone locks in your live location, initiates a live video stream, and notifies Noonlight's 24/7 dispatchers — who verify the situation and route emergency services as needed.

Arm Your Jog

Protection that moves with you.


Start an Armed Jog from your iPhone or Apple Watch before a run or walk, with live HealthKit stats on your wrist. If you don't move at least 250 feet in 60 seconds, SafeStream prompts you for your PIN. If the PIN isn't entered correctly within 20 seconds, your device's updating location is escalated to Noonlight dispatch.


Armed Jog also includes Abduction Alert detection. If your device suddenly begins moving at 15 mph or faster for 10 seconds, SafeStream treats that as a possible forced transport event and requires a PIN. If you can't confirm you're safe, the alert is escalated with your location and profile details.

Arm a Check-In Countdown

For the moments when you might lose service — or your phone.


Going somewhere remote or outside cellular coverage? Start an Armed Check-In countdown while you still have service. The countdown lives on our servers, not just your phone — so even if your battery dies or your phone is destroyed, it keeps running.


When the timer ends, you'll have 20 seconds to enter your PIN. If you don't, SafeStream sends your last known location and the details you included when you started the countdown to Noonlight dispatch.


Even if your phone is damaged afterward, your check-in still matters — as long as it was armed while service was available.

Arm Your Microphone with Monitor Mode

Designed for users who may not be able to respond physically.


Armed Monitor listens for a pre-recorded critical alarm, such as a ventilator disconnection alarm. Record the sound during setup, arm Monitor Mode, and SafeStream will listen for that specific alarm — escalating to Noonlight if it's detected.


Built especially for individuals who are quadriplegic or rely on life-saving medical equipment while sleeping. Access Monitor Mode in the Medical Information tab of your profile.

Powered by Noonlight

When an Armed alert can't be cleared, SafeStream shares your name, location, and any details you've added — like medical info or emergency contacts — directly with Noonlight's licensed dispatchers. They verify the situation, attempt to contact you, and route emergency services to your exact location.


The information you armed ahead of time — your location, safety details, and the nature of the alert — gets passed along when it matters most.


SafeStream is not a substitute for calling 911 directly. If you are in immediate danger and able to do so, call 911 or your local emergency services.

Safety Without Surveillance

Phone-number sign-in. No email, no passwords to remember.


Local health data. Apple Watch HealthKit data stays on your device and is never sent to our servers.


Restricted sensors. Your camera, microphone, and location are only used during active alarms.


Easy account deletion. Built right into the app via Profile → Delete account.

Coverage

SafeStream's emergency dispatch is currently available in the United States, excluding U.S. territories. Sign-up and Test Mode work everywhere.

Membership

SafeStream Membership unlocks Armed Mode across Camera, Jog, Check-In, and Monitor. Testing any mode is completely free.



Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew at the same price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings.
