SAFEDRONE's Open Day will take place on November 28th 2019 at ATLAS test center

SAFEDRONE demonstrations will show the latest state of the art technologies related to U-space and the integration of drones into the airspace. Complex demonstrations, involving large number of drones and a general aviation aircraft will be taken place, live, during the Open Day. New approaches on how to integrate general aviation aircrafts into U-space will be presented. Moreover advanced technologies related to U3 functionalities, like automated Detect&Avoid functionalities and operating a group of drones by a single pilot, will be shown. On the other hand, non-nominal situations will be considered, including emergency situations like geo-fencing breach and dynamic creation of no-fly zones. Finally, results and lessons learnt regarding all these advanced functionalities will be presented, along with live flying demonstrations of the most complex scenarios.
