Not only does Call of Duty: Modern Warfare feature one of the strongest campaigns in recent memory, it also boasts extremely robust online multiplayer. Its back to basics approach means the action feels quite familiar, but a couple of small touches refresh the masterful gameplay. The loop of leveling up to unlock new gear, build your own classes, and earn even more rewards like gun parts is as addictive as ever. New modes such as the 2v2 Gunfight or large-scale Ground War broaden the already huge range of ways to play, and generous updates mean the online multiplayer is only getting stronger.
