For visiting France during a short period of time (shorter than 90 days) you need a Short-stay visa which is the best solution to take part in conferences.

Travel Information:

• Airports: Participants in SAET Conference Paris 2023 are advised to fly into one of the two main airports around Paris: Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) or Orly Airport (ORLY).

• Paris city has some of the best public transportation options in France. For information about Paris and surrounding area public transporation see the Ile de France Transportation Navigator

• Parkings:  Sainte-Anne Hospital car park (Prices: 3.60 euros 1 hour, 9.90 euros 3 hours and 21.30 euros 24 hours). 2 min walk from FIAP

Hotels Information:

The SAET conference venue is located in Paris left bank "Paris Rive Gauche" area, on the 5th and the 14th quarters, near numerous hotels. To facilitate your accommodation search during the event, we have arranged for several hotels to hold room blocks at special discounted rates for all SAET conference participants. Some hotels propose preferential fixed prices and others special reductions using the Conference code SAET2023. 

Rates are per room per night and are quoted in Euros. The prices announced in this table correspond to a single room without breakfast. It is recommended to clarify payment and cancellation policies when making the reservation, as these vary from hotel to hotel. Reservations must be guaranteed by a one-night deposit or a major credit card. Reservations made after the deadline will be on a space-available basis and the group rate may no longer apply.

All reservations must be made via the official hotel website, with specific exceptions outlined in the table provided below with a *.

Rooms in Universitary Residency (Cité Universitaire):

Students (PhD/ Post-Doc) can reserve a room in the Cité Universitaire on the Foundation Maison de Tunisie, and the price is €40 per night for single comfort rooms, and €50 per night for two-person studios.
