Public transportation in Paris: metropolitans, buses or RER trains.  RER trains are slightly less frequent than metropolitans but faster. You’ll probably have to use RER trains as the conference venue is close to the RER stops.

The conference diner at Bateaux Mouches is close to the RER stop Pont de l’Alma.

The RER train in Paris and metro tickets are the same. In order to exit an RER station, you need to use the validated ticket at the entry.
