Пам’ятний хрест на честь воїнів УПА, які загинули від рук більшовиків.

Хрест був встановлений навесні 1990 року на тому місці, де був бункер. Весною 1947 року, на Благовіщення (7 квітня) в бункері перебувала група повстанців: «Іскра» (ройовий Микола Михасюк, син Івана), «Сірий» (Михайло Тороус, син Василя), «Ворон» (Іван Давидюк, син Михайла), «Бігун» (Іван Півторак, син Василя), «Молот» - Іван Бідащук, син Миколи, двоюрідний брат «Іскри», а також повстанці «Смішний» (псевдо), родом з села Корнича, Коломийського району та «Малий» (псевдо), родом із села Кийданча, Коломийського району.

Через зрадника серед повстанців в НКВС дізналися про розташування криївки та, зібравши близько 200 чоловік енкавеесівців), оточили криївку. Вони запропонували повстанцям здатися живими.

Повстанці вирішили, що честь дорожча за життя.  Вони знищили книги та документи і вступили в нерівний жорстокий бій. 

Залишився живим «Молот» (Іван Бідащук). Він зміг втекти.

Людей зігнали впізнати мертвих та ніхто не видав чиї то були сини, брати, батьки…

Вбитих повстанців повезли до Ланчинської тюрми НКВС.

Пізніше односельці на місці трагедії знайшли обгорілу книжку П.Куліша «Чорна рада» та багато сторінок невідомих книг.

A memorial cross in honor of the soldiers of the UIA (Ukrainian Insurgent Army), who were killed by the Bolsheviks.

The cross was erected in the spring of 1990 on the site of the bunker. In the spring of 1947, at the Annunciation (April 7), a group of insurgents was in the bunker: “Iskra” (the leader of the swarn (the least structural unit of the UIA) Mykola Mykhasiuk), “Siryi” (Mykhailo Torous), “Voron” (Ivan Davydiuk), “Bihun” (Ivan Pivtorak), “Molot” (Ivan Bidashchuk, cousin of “Iskra”), as well as unknown insurgents by pseudos “Smishnyi” and “Malyi”.

Because of a traitor the workers of the SPCA (the Soviet People's Commissariat of Internal Affairs) were informed about the location of the bunker and, gathering about 200 people, they surrounded it. The SPCA proposed the insurgents to surrender.

But the insurgents of the UIA decided that their honor was more precious than their life. They destroyed books and documents and began an unequal fierce battle.

“Molot” (Hammer) (Ivan Bidashchuk) survived. He was able to escape.

People were forced to come to the place, where the dead insurgents lied in order to identify them. But no one betrayed whose sons, brothers, parents the dead heroes were…

The killed insurgents were taken to the Lanchyn SPCA prison.

Later, the fellow villagers found P. Kulish's almost burnt book “Black Council” and many pages of unknown books at the site of the tragedy.

Жило там кілька повстанців,

«Іскра» свій постій там мав.

Сам «Іскра» про те не знав,

Ворогам їх запродав.

3. Гарний ранок і веселий –

Сонце сяє із небес.

Рано-вранці соловейко

Все зі сну буджає нас.

4. «Щось не чути соловейка,

Чогось сонце не зійшло…

Гляньте, хлопці, навкруг себе,

Щоб вас лихо не знайшло».

5. Так сказав ройовий «Іскра»,

Все стрільців застерігав….

Сумним ранком і похмурим

Ворог їх вже обступав.

6. Розпочались тії стріли.

Лютий ворог «Здайсь» кричить…

Хлопці кинулись до зброї –

Воювать почали вмить.

7. Воювали, воювали,

Воювати не змогли.

Їх совіти обкружили

І обходять навкруги.

8. Вхопив «Іскра» кулемета –

Вірно стріляв, боронив.

Як не стало їм вже сили,

«Іскра» з «Сірим» ся добив.

9. Сумно нам тепер згадати,

Як бої ся кінчили:

«Ворон», «Бігун», «Смішний», «Малий»

Трупом в бою полягли.

10. Спіть, герої України,

Спіть ви, вірнії сини.

Ви геройськи в бою впали –

Життя своє віддали.

5. The commander “Iskra” said them,

Warning all of the insurgents…

That sad and gloomy morning

The enemies were already surrounding them.

6. The fierce battle started

The cruel enemy shouts: “Surrender!”

The boys rushed to the weapon –

They began to fight in instantly.

7. They were fighting fiercely

Until they were completely exhausted.

At last they were surrounded

by the Russian invaders.

8. “Iskra” took a machine gun –

He shot correctly defending fellows.

“Iskra” and “Siryi” shot themselves

When they were exhausted

9. It is sad for us to remember

How the fierce battle ended:

“Voron”, “Bihun”, “Smishnyi”, “Malyi”

Were killed by the enemies.

10. Sleep the heroes of Ukraine,

Sleep, the faithful sons.

You fell heroically in battle

And gave your lives for us.
