21 days training was arranged by Department of Mechanical Engineering, BUET to visit 3 companies of Meghna Group of Industries as an industrial trainee. The visited companies are
1) Everest Power Generation Company Ltd.
2) Tasnim Chemical Complex Ltd.
3) Tanveer Paper Mills Ltd.
Besides, I had an opportunity to attend 2 days short industrial visit to Atomic Energy Research Establishment, Savar and Bangladesh Gas Fields Company Limited, Brahmanbaria to gather practical knowledge about Nuclear Reactors and Petroleum Engineering respectively.
Topics Learned:
Gas Engine Cooling System, Lubrication System,Control System,Exhaust System,Starting System,Fuel Supply System, Hydrogen Peroxide production process, Sodium Hydroxide production process, Production process of Paper and different machines (Conveyer, Pulper, Vibrating Screen, Refiner, Dryer etc), Nuclear Research Reactor Operation, Reactor Engineering and Control, Drilling System and Gas production process from gas field.
