Come meet with us from 1 - 2pm on Zoom. This event is open to anyone active or interested in joining our organization! We'll take some time to get to know each other and then share some updates on what we've been up to, working on, & need help with, + upcoming events :)

Community Unity: End-Dependence on Oil
July 4th, 12 - 4pm at the Capitol
Sacramento's regional social justice movements are coming together for a Community Unity gathering to End-Dependence on Oil.
"There will be story-telling, singing and dancing. The climate movement will bring a large art installation of oil derricks and pumpjacks, turning the capitol grounds into an oil field, and a large canvas mural for all to pitch in painting. We are seeking to “end-dependence” from fossil fuels and highlight the need for President Biden and Governor Newsom to stop issuing permits for oil and gas drilling and infrastructure.
Please join us from Noon until 4pm - on the West Steps of the Sacramento Capitol (off L Street, between 10th and 12th)"
