The SACNAS at UTA chapter was fortunate to award some travel scholarships for the 2025 SACNAS NDiSTEM conference. Some of the resources that we gathered are linked here. These include flyers from the graduate school and career expo booths.Â
The UTA Graduate School hosts free workshops (in-person and virtual) on a variety of topics covering career advancement, academic support and even health and wellness. Full list of resources offered by UTA Graduate School is available here.
UTA Health Services is a fully accredited health care facility that our tuition fees already pay for and we should take advantage of. Their services include a medical clinic, sports medicine, gynecological services, psychiatry, immunizations, pharmacy, and more. Some services are free and others are low cost, call 817-272-2771 or visit them in person for more information.
The staff at the Career Development Center are experts in all areas of professional advancement. They can help students improve their Resume or CV, find internship and job opportunities, meet professionals through career fairs and more. Visit them in person or e-mail careers@uta.edu.
The Center for Empowerment, Development, and Growth in Education, known simply as the EDGE Center, is located in Science Hall 322 and is exclusively available to Master's and Doctoral Students. Their center houses private study rooms, a lending library ,free printing services and even poster printing vouchers. They also have a career specialist available for graduate students.
