The mission of Mexican American Studies (MAS) is to strengthen the next generation by building knowledge of Mexican American communities and sharing that information across social, intellectual, and geographic boundaries.

Mexican-American Studies, is a new field of study (FOS) at San Antonio College.
Students who take MAS courses will develop the ability to work effectively with diverse populations, and will formulate a deep understanding of Mexican American culture, history, language and artistic expression.

Current, new and returning students are invited to take courses within the MAS field of study.
Students are encouraged to meet with their academic advisor and/or the MAS Coordinator for information about registering for MAS courses.
