BACKGROUND:
As a part of my enrollment in a course called T525: Connected Teaching in the Digital Age, I was able to participate in a project collaborating with the MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE). I led a research project that aimed to explore student and family experiences with the emergent Single District Virtual School (SDVS) model, which came to be during the COVID-19 crisis. I am conducting a case study, engaging with the SDVS communities to conduct focus groups with students and families as well as a focus group with school leaders.
