We are a group of adults who have ADHD or think we may have ADHD. We meet regularly online and in Sheffield city centre to support each other.
If you are an adult who has ADHD or think you may have ADHD, you are welcome to attend our meetings. Our members include people who come to our meetings, are on our mailing list and who participate in our communication channels.
There is a stereotype that ADHDers can be a bit like the dog from the film Up shouting "Squirrel!" because of our ability to get excited by something new and interesting. Over time, our members informally adopted the squirrel as a mascot!
The Squirrel Guide is to help you to be aware of what being in the group means for you and your information, and understand what you are agreeing to by being part of the group. You don’t need to read the whole thing but it’s here if you need to check anything about how the group is run.
