What do we do?
The SA Royal Parks Rangers are made up of a team of devoted people who have dedicated time, money and resources to protect and conserve our countryside and wildlife. We work together to make sure the natural beauty of Los Santos is protected at all times. We work closely with the public to ensure everyone treats the countryside and wildlife of Los Santos with care.
We work closely with the NHS and the Rural Crime and Policing Division of the LSPS to protect People and Wildlife. This includes but is not limited to; Search and Rescue efforts, providing protection to the NHS, investigating poachers and illegal fishers, and checking Hunters backgrounds.
What's expected of me?
Our requirements are to go on duty for a minimum time of 10 hours every 60 days. If you haven't clocked in for a month we have the right to remove you from the Royal Park Rangers without warning.
As a Trainee Ranger you’re on probation so you need to be actively proving yourself worthy of a permanent role in the job. If we feel during your probationary period that you are not contributing enough or are not the right fit for the job role, we reserve the right to terminate employment/probation.
Examples include but not limited to:
Only clocking on to go out hunting
If you only want to hunt, request a hunting permit and not full time employment. Too many people want to be glorified hunters - doing nothing for the job but just wanting a higher paycheck while hunting.
Going on duty once every other week as a Trainee doesn’t show commitment for the job and makes it harder for command to build a relationship with you.
As a fully fledged Ranger we do hold you to these standards but due to passing your probation we will give disciplinarians because we cannot fail a probation you’ve passed.
If you wish to go hunting, you must be on callsign and use Park Ranger uniform and vehicle(s). You're not permitted to hunt in your own vehicle(s) or clothing and should still be available if required to help hunters, rangers or members of the public.
If you need to go on Long Term Leave or Short Term Leave let any members of Command know how long you need to leave and the date this will take effect.
What radio channel do I use?
We have two dedicated frequencies being 21/22 and one joint frequency with NHS/Police/GruppeSechs. Frequency 23 is our primary one, which we share with the NHS/Police/GruppeSechs, and therefore we are always available there.
Frequency 22 is for internal training, i.e., Shoreline Patrol training, Helicopter Training, etc.
Frequency 21 is for internal and informal communications.
Can we sell Leather?
If someone wants to purchase leather from the Rangers please leave it for Command to handle.

GENERAL RULES
Make sure to follow all server rules or you will find yourself removed from the Rangers. Internal rules are NOT server rules and breaking these will result in disciplinarians if caught.
EMPLOYEE RULES
• Always return equipment when going off-duty
• While on duty you must be in correct uniform, i.e. Wearing a biker outfit on the motorbikes and Flight gear for the Helicopter
• You are not allowed to wear any face coverings while in uniform. This is so any member of the public can identify you.
• Rangers are not allowed to sell or give away equipment issued to you, if caught doing so, you will be subject to a disciplinary meeting
• Rangers can only carry firearms in permitted hunting spots, if not in a hunting spot you must secure it in a vehicle.
• In the case of animal control within city limits, Rangers are authorized to bring Rifles into the city - but abuse of this will result in a disciplinary meeting.
• Return vehicles back from where you got them from.
• Do not modify the vehicles without approval from command.
• Clock out if not doing work, Command are exempt due to having to respond to managerial dispatches at all times.
• You must assign yourself a callsign via the Unit Menu when going on duty. If you're the only person on duty, you must take a Caracara 4x4 so you can assist those who require it.
• Do not take out Air Tanks without approval from Command. If you are Shoreline Trained you can take them out but only do so when necessary.
• Clocking in to take out equipment and not going on duty is classed as stealing, the equipment should only be used when on duty.
• Taking out equipment in excess of any type without reason is classed as stealing.
• You are NOT allowed to hunt at Raton Canyon due to a disease with the animals. If caught you will immediately get your hunting permit revoked.
• You must refuel and repair vehicles when you return them. You can get fuel at any gas station for free. We have Bob too for repairs
• You must familiarize yourself with the Hunters ToS due to enforcing these when out on patrol. Most of these rules apply to Hunters too minus a few like don’t use a callsign.
