Complete these tasks after training and during the first week of classes. Remember, do not be afraid to reach out to someone (Admin or Mentors) if you have any questions on how to complete any of these items.
Send first email to faculty member
Watch the introductory speeches video (linked below) (New facilitators this is required, returners feel free to watch it for a refresher)
Plan and deliver first introductory speech
Have your first meeting with your paired faculty member
Be sure to talk about the following points:
Are you allowed to go over homework/graded material in session?
How often you all would like to meet throughout the semester
Their AI use policy
Anything else you want to know about them
Create an announcement GroupMe and add your campus contact as an administrator
Add yourself to the SI Facilitator Team GroupMe
Submit all Human Resources paperworks and I9 documents and complete any required trainings from HR (if you have not already submitted/completed these)
Fill out your scheduling form on Teams
Remember, this is in your individual folder in the scheduling folder
Log into OneUSG with your student worker email and set up direct deposit
Determine what day and time you will attend bi-weekly (Skill & Leadership) and add it to your calendar
Go over your first planning sheet with a mentor
New facilitators are required to watch this video about introductory speeches. Returners, feel free to watch this video as a refresher!

If you need to set up an individual admin training, please let me know as soon as possible as your first hours log submission will be due this Friday, January 17.
