Collaborative – interactive training environment requiring all participants to be present and ready to engage
Reflective – training is run like an SI session, so a lot of the learning will involve being reflective on HOW the training is run, not just WHAT the training covers
Respectful Communication – we do ask for pronouns and request all participants do their best to honor the identities of their colleagues
Accountability – we ask that each participant help hold their colleagues accountable for the above norms and required training activity outcomes
Grace – issues happen so we ask for grace for any challenges that arise for trainers or participants during the training
Direction Giver - assigns roles and restates directions
Scribe - write down group responses
Teacher/Spokesperson - shares out group's responses with all participants
Time Keeper - keeps an eye on time and move conversation along as needed to ensure group's assignments completed in time
Advice Seeker - returns to the main room (to seek advice from the SI facilitator) if the group has a question that they can't answer using available resources
