Ryan Aniceto
Ph.D. Student @ San Diego State University and UC San Diego
Hello! I am a graduate student in the Mathematics and Science Education Doctoral Program (MSED), operated jointly by San Diego State University and the University of California, San Diego.
You can view my current CV here.
Currently, I work as a research assistant alongside Dr. Victoria Delaney at San Diego State University.
My central research interests lie at the intersection of undergraduate mathematics and statistics education, particularly (i) how mathematical knowledge and practices support the learning and doing of statistics, and (ii) how instructors, departments, and institutions can improve mathematical supports toward students' success in introductory statistics.
I also love to teach! I have acted as an instructor of record for undergraduate introductory statistics courses and as a teaching assistant for courses in quantitative reasoning, calculus, and secondary mathematics for prospective mathematics teachers.
