Hand Drafting

For this part of the drafting unit, we practiced identifying shapes and what they look like by the front, right-side, and top views.

These images show circles drawn with a compass. This was used to practice with and get comfortable using this tool.

We did this activity to practice the font used in drafting images so we could use this in future drawings.

The worksheet on the left is the final practice sheet with guide dots. This allowed us to get used to drafting and get practice with it. The image on the right is a worksheet where we had to dimension the drawing. This allowed us to practice and get better at dimensioning as there is certain ways to dimension correctly.

These images are images drawn based off of put together pieces of a cube puzzle. This was to practice with T-squares and triangles and to draft without guiding dots. (The middle image is the non-completed drawing of the right image.)
