Inside our club we have a group that practices and plays together at the highest level adult tournaments to represents RVA Tidewater FHC in regional and national play.
We are growing our relationship with other east coast clubs. Friendly matches are shared goals amongst the clubs of Region C and regional universities and are organized periodically throughout the year.
Organized pick-up is offered at different days and locations than league to help fit everyone's schedule. This is a perfect time to dust the cobwebs off your equipment or try a new sport!
In addition to having a team that represents our club at the highest level tournaments, Tidewater FHC also seeks out local and regional competitve and mixed-ability tournaments to join throughout the year. Tournaments can be the perfect excuse to get away for a weekend.
In an effort to get the children of our adult members more involved, we now offer short recreational seasons for ages 4 to 5th grade, including a boys division. Our focus is on playing and having fun with a little bit of skill work thrown in. The "Game On" program will be implemented and oversized, softer USAFH GO Balls will be used.
Once a season, we get together at a local eatery to hang out with our teammates and club members. We hope to expand to team building activities outside of hockey in the future.
Our community is made up of members of different walks of life, and these events are for EVERYONE and their loved ones! We have severalparent/daughter duos, partners playing together, and many, many sets of friends-- old and new! Community nights are a great way for loved ones of all ages to be introduce the sport that brought us together!
