Together, adult Tidewater players helped found the youth Undertow club, becoming the first coaches. Although for a decade adult hockey fizzled out in RVA, Tidewater FHC (Undertow) maintained its' status as an active USAFH club through the development of the youth club headed by the late Plunket Beirne. Upon its revival, the Tidewater adult program picked up where they left off, reestablishing itself as a family club across generations.
Today we remain committed to growing the game of field hockey in our region, and now offer opportunities to all youth players ages 4+ with both recreational and club options.
